Bradley Carpenter is an author, professional keynote speaker, and stress relief coach. His book, RIDING ONE MORE WAVE; A BLUE LEGACY OF HONOR AND DUTY, profiles the life and career of a dear friend of his named Bobby Jackson, who served as an Oakland Police Officer.
Bradley is also a former High School teacher, and track Coach in California and most recently owned a 23 Coffee shop Chain, Forza Coffee, in the NW. He is a travel enthusiast who loves experiencing new wines, foods, beaches and making memories with friends.
The son of a soldier who experienced combat in WWII, Korea and Vietnam, Bradley was taught at an early age the beauty, majesty, and healing powers of the ocean. Growing up around the country as a military dependent the family hit the beaches from Saint Petersburg, Florida, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Nags Head, North Carolina, Virginia Beach, along the California coast from Malibu to Huntington and Santa Cruz to the Orcas Islands and Birch Bay in Washington State.
Bradley learned how his father dealt with the demons in his memories of war through the soothing sounds of the ocean, the smells of the salt water and the feeling of the water rushing past him as he drifted with the swells between the surf and the receding tide. The water seemed to wash him clean of all worries, guilt, and concerns. Today he has taken these life lessons, used surfing to handle his own difficulties, and volunteers with those suffering with PTSD by introducing them to the healing gift of nature and the ocean. As a result, this has led him to many speaking opportunities and stress relief coaching opportunities for those overwhelmed with the chaos and uncertainties in today’s modern-day world.
He splits his time between Puyallup, Washington, and Sayulita, Mexico, where he can be found with his writing team, fiancé Maggie, and his fierce feline boat cat, Captain Jack.
